At La Luz Lifestyle, we want you to feel confident placing an order with us. If you have purchased a product online and change your mind, as a consumer you generally have a legal right to a 14-day cooling-off period.
On this page, we explain how the right of withdrawal works, how to cancel your purchase, and how to return a product.
14-day cooling-off period
For most online purchases, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without providing any reason.
The withdrawal period begins on the day after you, or a person designated by you, receives the product.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please inform us within this period.
Cancelling your online purchase
After submitting your request, you will receive an email confirmation with the details of your withdrawal and the time it was submitted.
You can also use the statutory model withdrawal form or inform us in another clear and unambiguous way that you wish to withdraw from the agreement.
Returning your order
After you have informed us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you generally have another 14 days to return the products to us.
Please return the product, as far as reasonably possible, complete and carefully packaged.

If possible, include your name and order number with the return, so we can process it as quickly as possible.
Costs of return
The direct costs for returning a product are borne by the customer, unless we have expressly indicated otherwise in advance.
When legally required, the original standard shipping costs will be refunded when the entire order is cancelled.
If you specifically chose a delivery method that is more expensive than our standard delivery option, we are not obliged to refund the additional costs of this more expensive delivery method.
For partial returns, the original shipping costs are not automatically refunded.
Refund
When you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the amounts you are entitled to within 14 days at the latest after receipt of your withdrawal notification.
We may withhold the refund until:
- we have received the returned products; or

you have provided proof that you have returned the products,
whichever occurs first.
We normally use the same payment method as was used for the original transaction, unless we agree otherwise.
Assessing a product during the cooling-off period
During the cooling-off period, you may examine and assess a product in the same way you would reasonably be able to in a physical store.
If the product has been handled or used beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning, this may lead to a reduction in value. To the extent permitted by law, this reduction in value may be set off against the amount to be refunded.
Personalized and custom-made jewelry
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to every product.
Products made specifically according to your specifications or clearly personalized for you may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.
This may apply, among other things, to jewelry that is individually personalized with:
- a name;
- initials;
- a personal date;
- a personal text or message;

or another individual engraving or personalization.
When this exception applies, we will make this clear before you place the order.
This exception does not affect your legal rights if a personalized product is defective or damaged, or does not match what you ordered.
Received a damaged or incorrect product?
The right of withdrawal is separate from your legal rights when something is wrong with a product.
