Free a Girl strives for a world free from the commercial sexual exploitation of children and young women.
Worldwide, 2 million children, mainly girls, are trapped in situations of sexual exploitation. They are imprisoned and exploited in brothels, massage parlors, or garages.
Free a Girl works tirelessly to liberate these children and prosecute the perpetrators, including in the Netherlands.
Since its establishment, Free a Girl has been able to free over 7500 children in 7 countries!

Every child has the right to live in freedom. It is my hope that one day we can put an end to human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children and young women.
La Luz ("The Light" in Spanish) was founded with, among other things, the goal of helping women. I want to reach as many women as possible with our products and our message, and help them where I can.
Until then, we will continue to fight for the freedom of every child.

As a volunteer, I (Vanessa) have seen the devastating consequences of abuse up close.
Victims of abuse often suffer lifelong physical and emotional scars. They may struggle with trust issues, anxiety, depression, and addiction.
I feel a strong urge to make a difference and help Free a Girl put an end to this terrible reality.
